About the District 

 

Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. We are directly east of Eugene, where the University of Oregon is located. We currently have about 10,000 students, 1,410 total employees (667 of whom are teachers) in our Kindergarten through Grade 12 school district. Salary and Benefits 

 

The hourly range for this position is $21.79 - $28.67 (Range 13 - Based on the 2023-24 OSEA Classified salary schedule)  depending on education/experience plus a generous benefit plan.

 

About the Position

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

 

Certificates as determined by the District including ability to obtain a valid Wastewater System Operator T/I-D.E.Q., Backflow Assembly Test, have a current valid Oregon Driver license and pass district provided Safe Schools Training.

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), and four years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough working knowledge of plumbing maintenance work, including methods, materials, and equipment used in skilled plumbing maintenance work. Previous experience working in a plumbing maintenance position preferred.
